Katy is...a Senior Lecturer in International Education. In college she teaches on trainer and teacher development programmes as well as working in test development and editing. Overseas she has been involved in a variety of consultancies: for example the CBSE Curriculum Reform project in India, and the Examinations Reform Project in Jordan. She has spoken at international conferences in Brazil, Mexico and Poland and has trained teachers in Malaysia, Spain, Mexico, Kenya, Cape Verde, Jordan, Ethiopia and Austria. She is particularly interested in test writing and test writer development as well as teacher observation and supervision. Her publications are mainly in the field of teacher training, observation, mentoring and testing. She has a PhD in test writing.
